Ryan Liberty – 2016 Past Scholarship Winner Update

Ryan White (2)Fetterman & Associates is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Fetterman & Associates Scholarship Project.  Each year, area high school seniors are invited to enter by submitting an original essay entitled “My Most Influential Teacher”.  Five chosen winners will each receive a ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR scholarship.  Their Most Influential Teacher will be honored at the award ceremony with a special gift as well.

“We have met some extraordinary young men and women, and we are gratified to learn of their continuing success as they pursue their college careers.” stated Evan Fetterman.

Ryan L.Ryan Liberty, one of our 2016 winners,  attended  Oxbridge Academy.  Ryan  wrote about his English teacher, Mr. Damon White who inspired him to appreciate the beauty in art and literature. Ryan is now entering his freshman year at the  University of Florida.  In addition to his studies, Ryan serves as an intern at the USDA etymology laboratory on campus, and also volunteers at the university hospital every week.  He has even begun “shadowing” a  surgeon at the hospital, to help him gain insight into the medical profession.  Ryan said, “Of course, having the generous gift from the Fetterman & Associates Scholarship Project made the transition into college life so much easier. I was able to pay for all of my textbooks and school supplies with extra still left! I am so grateful to have benefited from this amazing cause.”
